iwb - Students at iwb

Join the team!
The iwb welcomes interested students to become a part of the team and utilize the resources and state of the art equipment of the iwb. Positions range from semester or diplom theses to student HiWi jobs.

Here you have the opportunity to bring what you've learned about production techniques into practice and gain useful experience. Results of cooperative student and assistant projects are jointly presented at fairs or for industry partners.

Contact
Contacting the iwb couldn't be easier: if you happen to see an interesting position description posted in the WWW or in one of our display cases, send an email, phone or just come by and meet the mentioned contact person. Email addresses can be found on the staff pages. It is also generally encouraged for students who are especially interested in a particular research topic or research project to approach the assistants directly and ask about semester/diplom theses or HiWi jobs.

An individual conceptual formulation is required by the advisor for every thesis including milestones and modus operandi. A thesis seminar is held every semester to introduce the basic guidelines when writing a master's thesis and to provide valuable hints for the concluding recitation.
